Erika Wasko is a New York City based performer, choreographer, & teacher with local housing in the Tampa, FL area.
Erika is in the process of receiving her Yoga Teacher Training 200 hour certification with Yoga Vida based in NYC, and continues to find ways to create in this ever-changing time.
The COVID-19 pandemic has rocked all of our worlds, leaving performers yearning for any ways to create. Throughout 2020, Erika was lucky enough to be a part of
a few artistic endeavors.
She performed a workshop of a play in progress about a woman recalling the memory of her long deceased brother after she is involved in a terrible accident. (dir. Emilie Jensen)
Through the Now Spinning Series, Erika performed in multiple cabarets, including Carole King's Tapestry and Ingrid Michaelson's BE OK, dueting with partner Hannah Clarke Levine.
Before the Covid-19 shutdown,
Erika was set to tour with
Vital Theatre Co. as Angelina Ballerina
with additional performances of
Angelina and Pinkalicious in NYC.
Erika spent most of 2019 in Arizona
where she understudied Jovie in
Elf the Musical, played Erato in Xanadu, and Lisa in Mamma Mia at
Arizona Broadway Theatre!
